Record

  • Compact record button, leaving room for the list
  • Pause and resume at any time
  • Bookmarks while recording, lockable
  • Voice activation (VOX): pauses after a few seconds of silence, resumes as soon as there is sound
  • Keeps recording in the background with the screen off, with a notification and pause / stop buttons
  • Crash-resistant: offers to recover the recording at next launch

Listen

  • Playback in the background and from the lock screen
  • Adjustable speed
  • Draggable timeline inside the recording
  • Clickable text after transcription: tapping a word jumps to that moment
  • Option to skip silences automatically

Organize

  • Search by name, date or transcript content (accents and case ignored)
  • Sort by date, name, duration or favorites, color-coded favorites
  • Categories (client, site…) with a drop-down menu and counter
  • Multiple selection to delete or share
  • Rename individually

Transcribe

  • Your voice becomes text, automatically after each recording or on demand
  • Several languages, with detection of the spoken language
  • Text editable by hand to fix a word
  • Translation of the transcript into about sixty languages

Photos and videos

  • Built-in camera: take several photos in a row without leaving the app
  • Video, or pick photos and videos already in the gallery
  • Thumbnail preview, individual deletion
  • Optionally attached to the e-mail

Send by e-mail

  • Default server: no setup, no e-mail password to enter
  • Personal server (SMTP): the password stays in the phone's hardware-backed vault
  • Named recipient groups, automatic sending after saving
  • Customizable subject (name and date inserted automatically)
  • The transcript goes with the audio; photos and videos if the option is on
  • History of who received what, and when

Share

  • To any other app, WhatsApp included
  • Audio only, text only, or audio + transcript (.txt file)
  • Bulk sharing of several recordings

Security

  • PIN code lock
  • Unlock by fingerprint or face recognition if the phone supports it
  • No e-mail password stored in plain text
